Opened a jade account with @HSBC_UK after making a move from @StarlingBank. Very first transaction from the new account…Fail! Transaction seems to have gone thru, but get an error message saying there was a problem!Hate to compare but Starling App was so perfectly engineered

It never ceases to amaze me that a full service bank @HSBC_UK can be so unhelpful. I only wanted to pay in a cheque (rarity I know) into my @firstdirect account, but it was all so much hassle. Machines not working, no paying in slips. Unhelpful staff! FD you are so much better!!

@HSBC_UK Was in there again just now! Both cash AND cheque machines down plus I gather all systems. And only 1 counter open and gather the main frame is down too? So what I paid in won’t show up?🙈🤬

@HSBC_UK i had applied for a credit card on 26 mar 2022. Called the customer care 4-5 times since then finally came to know that the application is approved, all clear from the underwriting services team, it's sitting with the banking approval team. It's been a month !!!!

@HSBC_UK is there an HSBC app problem at the moment I have been trying for over a week to use this app and it just closes down when I press the app icon - I have reinstalled and deleted a lot of times but the app only brings up the logo ? I updated to iOS 15.2 recently ? Pls help

@dgwbirch @Barclays Looks familiar. @HSBC_UK does the same thing. Go over your daily payment limit and, rather than say that, you get a indecipherable error message leaving you to imagine it’s an IT issue or worse. Why are established banks so bad at this stuff!?

Absolutely appalling levels of customer service with @hsbc_uk business banking -phone service over 1hour wait - but no responsiveness on the Chat app either. If you’re looking for a business account look elsewhere

The decline of @HSBC_UK as a bank is a prime example of bank losing its customer focus. Opened couple of bank accounts in August for my two daughters at the @HSBC Reading branch in August. Still have nothing to show for. There are many other. #wakeupHSBC #worstexperience @TheFCA

@HSBC_UK My mum has a very limited mobility. In branch today, despite asking for updates, they kept her waiting for an hour before saying the advisor was now on lunch. This despite having an appointment! She can't sit for 90 mins+. Please can we get modified support?

@HSBC_UK just want to say what amazing customer service I have got recently. My mortgage rate was swapped and I was penalised but it was rectified and I had an email with a breakdown of what I was refunded plus compensation. Very impressed! 👍👍
